Football's my first love, but what pulls me in is why it matters — the narrative behind every match, the reason a single moment sticks with you long after the final whistle. That's what makes football different from just a game: it's relatable, and it's easy to get attached to. Sports in general come right after — from badminton to death diving, padel to the NBA — but football's where the real stories live for me.

Fashion's been growing on me too. Since moving to Amsterdam, I've been discovering loads of independent brands. Back in Malaysia, I once queued behind my favourite radio DJ at a shoe store — he gave me a wink. Core memory.

I speak five languages if you count Cantonese and Hokkien (which I do). Trying my best in Dutch. Already wanting another Curry Barker movie, I’m a sucker for thriller, horror or sci-fi that actually makes you think, and Obsession blew my mind away.

There's a lot of noise out there, and a weird need to be the first. I'm building Onto the Next to be the opposite — real conversations with the people who read it, and stories that make you think instead of just handing you an opinion.
